Mrs. MacGregor

Greetings to all of our Antietam families! Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year. As I completed my last year as a Teacher on Administrative Assignment, I awaited anxiously to begin my first year as Assistant Principal. It is certainly an honor and privilege to be a contributing member of a school that is high performing, a place where children are loved and respected, where parents and the community are welcomed, and teachers are valued and appreciated.

Our strong group of dedicated teachers is committed to providing your children with an enriched learning experience. They are focused on actively engaging the children, while making school challenging, exciting and fun. As a school community, our high expectations and commitment to improvement will help make us even more successful than this past year.

Parents, please remember that the commitment you have made to your child’s education is vital to our success. When the partnership between Antietam and our families is strong, student achievement is also strengthened.

We will continue as a staff to respect, understand and recognize cultural differences and its importance as we strive to be successful in identifying the needs, working and learning styles of each student.

I look forward to working with each and every one of you as a team to achieve another successful school year. I am always available to students and parents. Please feel free to come by my office.
